ABSTRACT
Currently, scientifically and reasonably specifying carbon emission reduction measures in the context of "double carbon" has become a common concern worldwide. China's administrative divisions have notable impact on formulation implementation relevant policies. Therefore emissions must be calculated accurately under at different scales. The spatiotemporal change characteristics absorption can provide scientific basis for reasonable differentiated policies regions China. To this end, study used multi-source data such as remote sensing statistics integrated ecological models, statistics, GIS space analysis other methods to analyze dynamic scales (provinces, cities, counties) results showed that: ① total vegetation China continued increase from 2000 2021 average value gradually increased. Differences were observed changes smaller more evident. Carbon obvious spatial differences "high north low south, high east west." ② distribution CPI scale was similar that overall trend increasing annually. pressure weakened central western regions. ③ Spatiotemporal hotspot cold hot spots follows: In pattern "hot west," agglomeration characteristics. provincial primarily oscillating whereas municipal county majorly continuous spots. Further revealed periods significant variability, especially eastern possibility offsetting by remains. At same scale, (such provinces) lower-level another cities province) varying degrees variability emissions. Therefore, taking an example subsequent considering trading, reduction, policies, we should first consider coordination between province then provinces, which is expected better promote
