ABSTRACT
Academic enrichment programs seek to address the challenges first-generation students face, but research tends focus on academic outcomes. In this study we investigated students' perceptions of how a program addresses their mental well-being. A total 25 undergraduate who were enrolled in an participated groups and interviews. thematic analysis interviews revealed that reported promoted well-being by helping them feel cared for, cultivating sense belonging, preventing remediating distress, become resilient.
