ABSTRACT
We demonstrate polarization rotators in low index contrast InGaAs-InP material system to enable monolithic integration of quantum cascade lasers and detectors with slotted photonic crystal waveguide gas sensors in the molecular fingerprint region from λ=3-15μm.
