Near-Field and Far-Field Thermal Emission of individual subwavelength-sized resonators

ABSTRACT
We propose a modulation method to record background-free far field FTIR spectra of single sub-λ sized objects which we combine with near-field TRSTM measurements characterize the thermal emission plasmonic antennas and silica rods. The fundamental mode MIM nanoantennas is excited at multiple wavelengths.
