ABSTRACT
We demonstrate that the pump's spatial input profile can provide additional degrees of freedom in tailoring at will nonlinear dynamics and ensuing spectral content supercontinuum generation highly multimoded optical fibers. Experiments simulations carried out 1550 nm indicate modal composition beam substantially alter soliton fission process as well resulting Raman dispersive wave eventually lead to such a multimode environment. Given multitude conceivable initial conditions, our results suggest it is possible pre-engineer versatile manner.
