ABSTRACT
Polarization, as an important property of light, has been widely discussed in modern detecting and radar systems. A polarization converter that can be used to achieve dynamic control is regarded excellent alternative for implementing the integrated functionalities communication stealth. In this work, we propose a paradigm meta-converter states shifting from linear-to-linear (LTL) linear-to-circular (LTC) polarization. The strategy achieved by loading voltage-controlled PIN diodes on double-arrows metallic meta-resonators. operation modes switched changing bias voltage. When are turned on, (PMC) will reflect convert linearly polarized electromagnetic (EM) wave into circularly one 5.6-15.5 GHz with axial ratio (AR) below 3dB. off, PMC EM orthogonal counterpart 7.6-15.5 conversion (PCR) over 88%. Simulations experimental results show good agreement, which manifests feasibility our proposed meta-converter. Moreover, great potential polarization-dependent stealth
