Active pulse shaping for end-pumped Nd:YVO_4 amplifier with high gain

We demonstrated the active shaping for a solid-state Nd:YVO4 amplifier with high average gain of 39.2 dB. The output power was 8.3 W respect to input 1 mW. A range common and useful pulse shapes generated at final output. In addition, very flat square produced root-mean-square less than 3% in amplitude. numerical method proposed realize without an experimental test amplifier, showing great potential design lasers both peak (>100 kW) desired shape.
