ABSTRACT
The performance of the phase-shifted superstructured fiber Bragg grating (SSFBG) for optical code (OC) recognition was investigated with different reflectivity as well input pulse width. auto-correlation peak (PA) and ratios PA to maximum wing level (P/W) cross-correlation (P/C) were used quantitatively evaluate OC performance. There is a conflict between obtaining high P/W P/C in regime. approach applying apodization technique improve regime proposed. comparative experimental investigations 127-chip 160-Gchip/s SSFBG are carried out confirm effectiveness proposed approach. Error-free transmission multiplexing two active users has been successfully achieved by apodized at data rate 1.25 Gbit/s.
