ABSTRACT
We propose a low-threshold soliton fiber laser passively mode locked with two different types of film-like saturable absorbers, one which is fabricated by mixing Bi2Te3 de-ionized water, as well polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), and then evaporating them in Petri dish, the other prepared directly dropping solution on PVA film. Both Bi2Te3–PVA films exhibit outstanding features low loss, high flexibility, easy synthesis. By incorporating into lasers, stable single-soliton emissions are obtained at pump power 13 mW. Our results suggest that can work promising locker for ultrafast while an excellent host fabricating high-performance film-based absorbers.
