ABSTRACT
The advent of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has emerged as a promising solution to enhance healthcare efficiency and improve patient outcomes. objective this study is analyse the knowledge, attitudes, perceptions professionals in Pakistan about AI healthcare. We conducted cross-sectional using questionnaire distributed via Google Forms. This was (e.g., doctors, nurses, medical students, allied workers) working or studying Pakistan. Consent taken from all participants before initiating questionnaire. questions were related participant demographics, basic understanding AI, education practice, applications systems, AI’s impact on professions socio-ethical consequences use AI. analyzed data Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) statistical software, version 26.0. Overall, 616 individuals responded survey while n = 610 (99.0%) respondents consented participate. mean age 32.2 ± 12.5 years. Most (78.7%, 480) had never received any formal sessions training during their studies/employment. A majority participants, 70.3% (n 429), believed that would raise more ethical challenges In all, 66.4% 405) should be taught at undergraduate level. suggests there insufficient despite interest many area. Future work developing tailored curriculum regarding will help bridge gap between training.
