ABSTRACT
Eukaryotic genomes are repetitively packaged into chromatin by nucleosomes, however they regulated the differences between which establish various states. Local cues direct inheritance and propagation of status via self-reinforcing epigenetic mechanisms. Replication-independent histone exchange could potentially perturb if chaperones, such as Swr1C, loaded variants wrong sites. Here we show that in Schizosaccharomyces pombe, like Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Swr1C is required for loading H2A.Z specific sites, including promoters lowly expressed genes. However S. pombe has an extra subunit, Msc1, a JumonjiC-domain protein Lid/Jarid1 family. Deletion Msc1 did not disrupt or its ability to bind load euchromatin, was ectopically found inner centromere subtelomeric chromatin. Normally this region only lacks but also shows uniformly lower levels H3K4me2, H4K5, K12 acetylation than euchromatin disproportionately contains most genes during vegetative growth, many meiotic-specific Genes within adjacent become overexpressed absence either Swr1, paradoxically itself. We N-terminally acetylated before, lysine after, it physically associates with Nap1 chaperone. However, find negative correlation genomic distributions Nap1/Hrp1/Hrp3, suggesting chaperones remove from These data describe action identify new mode surveillance maintenance based on regulation variant misincorporation.
