ABSTRACT
Abscission is the final event of cytokinesis that leads to physical separation two daughter cells. Recent technical advances have allowed a better understanding cellular and molecular events leading abscission in isolated yeast or mammalian However, how regulated different cell types developing organism remains poorly understood. Here, we characterized function ESCRT-III protein Shrub during germ cells undergoing series complete incomplete divisions. We found required for abscission, levels are critical proper timing abscission. Loss gain delays germline stem (GSCs), formation stem-cysts, where share same cytoplasm as mother cannot differentiate. In addition, our results indicate negative regulation by Aurora B kinase GSC Finally, Lethal giant discs (lgd), known be endosomal pathway, also regulates duration GSCs.
