ABSTRACT
Isoflavone, a group of secondary metabolites in soybean, is beneficial to human health. Improving isoflavone content soybean seeds has become one the most important breeding objectives. However, narrow genetic base cultivars hampered crop improvement. Wild an extraordinarily gene pool for breeding. In order select optimal germplasm programs increase concentration, 36 F1 progenies from different parental accessions (cultivars, wild, Semi-wild and Interspecific) with various total (TIF) concentration (High, Middle, Low) were analyzed their content. Results showed that male parents, except Cultivars, positive GCA effects. particular, wild had higher effects TIF concentration. Both MP BP heterosis value declined hybrid which parents semi-wild interspecific offspring cultivar turn. general, combining ability hybrids relative level better performance than those lower parents. These results indicated characteristics mainly governed by additive type action, relatives could be utilized this trait. A promising combination was found as best potential
