ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine the association between preoperational factors and patients' short-term outcome after proximal fibular osteotomy (PFO) provide a basis for detailed surgical indication patient selection. This retrospective patients undergoing PFO January 2015 December 2015. Preoperational clinical data including gender, age, duration disease, visual analogue score (VAS) American Knee Society (KSS) were collected. radiological hip-knee-ankle angle (HKA angle), condyle-plateau (CP Kellgren Lawrence grade (KL grade), joint space width both compartments settlement value also considered. Patients followed at 12 months postoperatively. Both functional KSS scores obtained. interest divided into outcome. For each, two criteria defined: satisfaction significant improvement. Satisfaction is characterized by or over 70 points (excellent good results); improvement refers an increase in more than 15 points. Bivariate logistic regression outcomes performed. Multivariable analyses used detect independent affecting outcomes.A total 84 111 knees followed-up. Of these, 17 from males 94 females. average age 59.45±8.82 years. VAS score, 7.08±1.41 points, 49.14±10.95 44.97±17.71 respectively. According KL grading, there 2, 47 3, 4.
