ABSTRACT
Despite the universalization of immunization against six vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs), coverage full among children under age five has remained a challenge globally. The 2015-16 National Family Health Survey (NFHS) indicated large disparity in different vaccination doses (BCG, Polio, DPT and Measles) including across districts India. spatial distribution poor performing terms district level spatial, contextual determinants contributing to low have been poorly studied. Using recent household survey (NFHS, 2015-16), this study examined heterogeneity factors associated with aged 12-23 months India. This used data from fourth round conducted 2015-16. District-level prevalence each immunization, were analysed. Moran's I, Univariate Bivariate LISA, Ordinary least square (OLS) models employed achieve overall aim study. At national level, was 62 percent. Specific for BCG, three polio, measles 92, 73, 78 81 percent, respectively. value bivariate I statistics confirmed dependence between specific set independent variables. vaccine showed significant clustering adjusted coefficients error model that district-level proportion utilization post-natal care, institutional births, neonatal tetanus protection last birth, women's education health insurance statistically association every coverage. The considerably geographical hotspots as compared coverage. Maternal child care services utilization, financial assistance mothers through JSY scheme mother's found determine well Appropriate intervention should be designed reduce India thus safeguard protecting preventable geography.
