ABSTRACT
The Bashbay sheep (Ovis aries), an indigenous breed of Xinjiang, China, has many excellent characteristics. It is resistant to Mycoplasma ovipneumoniae infection, the causative agent mycoplasma ovipneumonia, a chronic respiratory disease that harmful industry. To date, knowledge regarding mechanisms responsible for M. pathogenesis in scant. Herein, we report results transcriptome profiling lung tissues from experimentally infected with strain at 4 and 14 days post-infection, comparison mock-infected animals (0 d). Transcriptome was performed by deep RNA sequencing, using Illumina platform. analysis differentially expressed genes determine concomitant gene-specific temporal patterns mRNA expression lungs after infection. We found 1048 (575 up-regulated, 473 down-regulated) when comparing transcriptomic data 0 2823 (1362 1461 versus post-infection. Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes pathway showed post-infection were enriched 245 287 pathways, respectively, Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling considered most closely related MO infection (p < 0.01).
