ABSTRACT
To analyze three row orientations (south-north, east-west, southwestern 20°) and two spacings ('65 + 65', '160 40'), we investigated the effect of orientation planting pattern on photosynthetic performance, physiological biochemical indicators related to aging leaves. Results revealed that during maturity stage, in north-south initial fluorescence (Fo) at '65 65' were higher than those under'160 40'; maximum quantum yield PS2 photochemistry(ΦP0), basal non-photochemical processes PS2(ΦN0)of lower leaves rate upper ear 40'were under'65 65'. The polyphenoloxidase (POD) activities different positions under 40' while malondialdehyde (MDA) content was lower. photosynthesis rate, superoxide dismutase (SOD) catalase (CAT) activity 20° others. Whilst MDA Therefore, De Hui City, Jilin Province, delayed leaf senescence late stage growth maize, as well increasing maize most obvious.
