ABSTRACT
Saline-alkaline stress is an abiotic that suppresses rice plant growth and reduces yield. However, few studies have investigated the mechanism by which plants respond to saline-alkaline at a global transcriptional level. Dongdao-4 Jigeng-88, differ in their tolerance stress, were used explore gene expression differences under RNA-seq technology. In seedlings of 3523 4066 genes with differential levels detected, respectively. A total 799 upregulated shoots both while 411 roots genotypes. Among downregulated 453 372 found roots, Gene ontology (GO) analysis showed enriched several GO terms such as response jasmonic acid, organic acid metabolic process, nicotianamine biosynthetic iron homeostasis. The terms, photosynthesis reactive oxygen species. Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway revealed specifically biosynthesis secondary metabolites diterpenoids phenylpropanoids. involved metabolite biosynthesis, amino betalain homeostasis pathways may be central contrast, diterpenoid phenylpropanoid contribute greater than Jigeng-88. These results suggest was equipped more efficient multiple biological processes adapt stress.
