ABSTRACT
A high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method with relative molar sensitivity (RMS) based on 1 H quantitative NMR spectroscopy ( H-qNMR) has been developed for food ingredients such as acteoside (verbascoside) and pedaliin (pedalitin-6- O -glucoside) without requiring authentic identical standards the reliable analytical methods. This is used methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (MHB) an alternative reference standard. Each RMS also calculated from ratio of each analyte's absorption coefficient to that MHB after correcting purities analytes standard by H-qNMR. Therefore, this can quantify several metrological traceability International System Units (SI) using one In study, content in samples, dried sesame leaf powders commercially processed foods, be determined proposed demonstrated good agreement obtained a conventional method. Moreover, yields data SI-traceability need analyte Thus, useful practical tool determining terms accuracy values, routine analysis, cost reagents.
