ABSTRACT
Recent findings on Antibiotic Resistance (AR) have brought renewed attention to the comparison of data AR from human and animal sectors. This is however a major challenge since not harmonized. study performs comparative analysis resistance combinations in Escherichia coli ( E . ) different routine surveillance monitoring systems for populations Germany. Data isolates were collected between 2014 2017 clinical isolates, non-clinical food-producing animals food, companion national Sixteen possible four antibiotics—ampicillin, cefotaxime, ciprofloxacin gentamicin–for these used hierarchical clustering (Euclidian average distance). All analyses performed with software R 3.5.1 (Rstudio 1.1.442). 333,496 forty-one included cluster analysis. Three main clusters detected. Within three clusters, all (intensive care unit (ICU), general ward outpatient care) showed similar relative frequencies clustered together. They demonstrated similarities most pigs both isolates. Isolates healthy poultry However, they separately low also populations. Cluster has been able demonstrate linkage among various based combinations. Further might support better one-health approach
