ABSTRACT
As highlighted in the International Year of Nurse and Midwife, access to quality nursing midwifery care is essential promote maternal-newborn health improve survival. One intervention aimed at improving reducing underutilization pregnancy services construction maternity waiting homes (MWHs). The purpose this study was assess whether there a significant change antenatal (ANC) postnatal (PNC) attendance, family planning use, vaccination rates before after implementation Core MWH Model rural Zambia. A quasi-experimental controlled before-and-after design used evaluate impact by assessing associations between ANC PNC for mothers who gave birth child past 13 months.
