ABSTRACT
Guangxi chickens play a crucial role in promoting the high-quality development of broiler industry China, but their value and potential are yet to be discovered. To determine genetic diversity population structure indigenous chicken, we analyzed whole genomes 185 from 8 phenotypically geographically representative chicken breeds, together with 12 RJFt, BRA WL available previous studies. Calculation heterozygosity (Hp), nucleotide (π), LD level indicated that populations were characterized by higher lower differentiation than RJFt commercial breeds except for HGFC. Population analysis also confirmed introgression breeds. Each clustered while overall was slight. MA has richest among all varieties. Selective sweep revealed BCO2 , EDN3 other candidate genes had received strong selection local These provided novel breeding visual data basis future breeding.
