ABSTRACT
This study aimed to compare the effects of different levels cashew nutshell liquid (CNSL) and castor oil (CNSL-castor oil) with growth-promoting antibiotics associated anticoccidials in broiler chickens challenged coccidiosis. In this work, 2520 one-day-old male chicks (Cobb) were randomly assigned 84 pens, containing 30 birds each. The experimental design was completely randomized, seven treatments: enramycin (8 ppm), virginiamycin (16.5 tylosin (55 ppm); doses CNSL-castor (0.5, 0.75, 1.00 kg/t); a control diet (without additives). All treatments received semduramicin + nicarbazin (500 g/t; Aviax® Plus) from 0 28 d monensin sodium (100 ppm; Elanco) 29 35 days age, when feed without antibiotics. challenge introduced at 14 age by inoculating sporulated Eimeria tenella, acervulina, maxima oocysts via oral gavage. addition performance parameters, intestinal contents collected 42 for microbiota analysis sequencing 16s rRNA V3 V4 regions using Illumina MiSeq platform.
