ABSTRACT
Under field conditions, the moisture content of rock changes with weather during prolonged creep. In order to investigate effect change on long-term shear strength and deformation behavior, a apparatus for intact was developed. Since three prefabricated holes are drilled in upper part sample, water injection device gas can be used inject into sample alternately test adjust without removing normal load load. By using silicone gasket seals box, fluid at pressure 5 MPa achieved leakage. Shear creep tests argillaceous shale were conducted under both constant dynamic results described by Nishihara model. The experimental revealed that there significant differences different conditions. proposed advance quantitative study properties samples has certain practical application value prediction engineering mass stability rainfall.
