ABSTRACT
Analysis of the chemical composition gallstones is vital for etiopathogenesis gallstone diseases that can ultimately help in prevention its formation. In present study, from seven different regions India were analyzed to highlight major difference their composition. Also, pathological conditions i.e., benign (chronic cholecystitis, CC) and malignant gallbladder disease (gallbladder cancer GBC) characterized. The type polymorphs cholesterol molecules was also studied provide insight into structure gallstones. 1H solution state NMR spectroscopy 1D experiments performed on a total 94 (GS) samples collected geographical India. Solid-State 13C cross-polarization magic angle spinning (CPMAS) done 20 CC GS GBC two regions. spectra all stones reveal component maximum north region while south Indian regions, had very less cholesterol. CPMAS quantity significantly more Lucknow compared with Chandigarh. Our study revealed both belong monohydrate crystalline form Chandigarh exists amorphous anhydrous form. Gallstones have complicated poorly understood etiology. Therefore, it important understand gallstones, which be found various forms clinical conditions. Variations dietary practices, environmental conditions, genetic factors may influence contribute formation GS. Prevention decreasing cases cancer.
