ABSTRACT
Recently, several inflammatory markers, including the uric acid to HDL cholesterol ratio (UHR), triglyceride/HDL (THR), systemic index (SII), and C-reactive protein albumin (CAR), have been reported be associated with conditions. However, their collective role in sacroiliitis has not extensively studied. This study aims investigate general characteristics markers patients without sacroiliitis, observe any differences these parameters subjects active chronic sacroiliitis. Patient who showed up Radiology Department of Abant Izzet Baysal University Hospital were enrolled. Patients diagnosed based on clinical symptoms, physical examination, conventional radiography or MRI findings included group. present back pain hip but normal radiographic control General characteristics, age, sex, body mass (BMI), medical history, disease duration, collected from all participants. Blood samples measure UHR, THR, SII, CAR. The data compared between groups. Subgroup analysis was also performed compare median UHR 11% (3-20%) 7% (3-13%), respectively (p<0.001). Serum significantly positively correlated CRP (r: 0.4, p = 0.001) ferritin 0.17, 0.045) levels. In ROC analysis, a level higher than 8% an 81% sensitivity 64% specificity detecting (AUC: 0.8, p<0.001, 95% CI: 0.72-0.84). conclusion, we suggest that could provide useful as additional diagnostic tool
