ABSTRACT
Building on the Fano resonance observation, a new refractive index transducer structure at nanoscale is proposed in this article, which consisting of metal-insulator-metal (MIM) waveguide coupled with ring cavity internally connected to an h-shaped (RCIhS). Using analytical method based COMSOL software and finite element (FEM), effect different geometric parameters trans-mission characteristics system simulated analyzed, turn illustrates structural output curves. As simulation results show, influential component resonance. By optimizing geometrical structure, finally accomplishes sensitivity (S) 2400 nm/RIU figure merit (FOM) 68.57. The sensor has also been demonstrated realm temperature detection, having tremendous potential for utilization future nano-sensing optically integrated systems.
