ABSTRACT
A significant population of biocontrol microorganisms resides in the rhizosphere plants, which can be utilized for plant disease control. To explore potential soil as agents against pepper blight, a bacterial strain Pa608 was screened from and identified Pseudomonas aeruginosa through morphological characteristics 16S rRNA sequences. The result showed that demonstrated antagonistic activity Phytophthora capsici , effectively suppressing mycelial growth. potted experiment high control efficacy 88.0%. Remarkably, also reduced index blight field, resulting efficiencies 74.9%. Moreover, enhanced height yield. GC-MS analysis revealed production numerous secondary metabolites by Pa608, with α-pinene displaying potent anti-oomycete inhibiting P . In conclusion, exhibited management cultivation.
