ABSTRACT
A noteworthy group of culinary and medicinal plants is Polygonatum species. They are known for their abundant flavonoid compound-rich rhizomes, which have antioxidative anticancer activities. Using sibiricum Red (SXHZ) kingianum var. grandifolium (HBES), we conducted transcriptome metabolomic investigations to look into the molecular processes that control manufacture these flavonoids in plants. Seven distinct metabolites were identified by analytical data, with phloretin exhibiting a notable differential expression biosynthetic pathway. 30 genes found both after further investigation, five members transcription factor family associated MBW. Thus, suggest Phloretin belonging MYB-related play crucial role controlling biosynthesis pathway Polygonatum. This work lays groundwork deeper comprehension metabolic Polygonatum, serving as an invaluable resource development polygonatum-related pharmaceutical industries well future breeding higher content.
