ABSTRACT
The participation rate of Indigenous people in higher education is comparatively disparately low across all sectors. In this paper we examine the pivotal role university sector addressing inequity and releasing potential for increased enrolment, completion education. education, argue, core business, not an equity issue, a unique opportunity currently exists achieving significant progress. Using examples best practice show how universities can take positive practical steps to overcome commonly identified barriers success.
