ABSTRACT
BackgroundInhaled corticosteroids, known to be effective as a maintenance medication in chronic asthma, have also been suggested therapy for acute asthma when given at high doses.MethodsA double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial was conducted children aged 2 12 years with moderate or severe determined based on clinical score of 5 15 points, where is the most severe.
