ABSTRACT
Literature comparing the use of isoflurane and sevoflurane inhalation anesthetic agents in birds is scarce. This study aimed to evaluate comparison during induction, maintenance, recovery anesthesia avian patients. In this study, 24 injured patients (n=24) were selected randomly divided into four groups kite flying festival. present used as induction maintenance agents, with without butorphanol tartrate premedication agent all birds. Different physiological parameters evaluated, namely, cloacal temperature (°F), heart rate (beats/min), respiratory (breaths/min), SpO2 (%) recorded at 0, 10, 20 min, time. The quality was assessed on basis time, production analgesia, muscle relaxation, body reflexes, recovery, sitting, standing, complete time (CRT). mean±standard error value 230.00±32.55, 280.00±25.29, 180.00±21.90, 260.00±36.87 s, respectively, Groups I, II, III, IV. feather plucking, pharyngeal, toe pinching reflexes noticed, when passing through light plane induction. Comparison between Group-I versus Group-III revealed a significant difference (p<0.05). mean rates Group-II Group-IV Excellent observed protocols. Sitting, CRT shortest maintained compared isoflurane. rapid induced Rapid onset found followed by Induction resulted lowest required for CRT.
