ABSTRACT
Method of cathode protection is employed to slow down the corrosion terrestrial pipe.This paper aims develop a system monitor pipe equipment wholly track operation status buried timely.The monitoring integrates technology wireless sensor networks, GPRS network and Internet not only collect potential data in time realize remote transmission but also regulate guard mode on demand.Optimization mechanisms are adopted effectively lower energy assumption ensure reliability, from architecture design, selection power saving hardware components, implementation reliable traffic mechanism including hierarchical topology with least-complexity cluster head shift strategy, TDMA protocol auto-adaptive resending scheme, work-on-duty radio-awaken so on.Trial running has published good results 96% or higher success ratio transmission, low balance.In all, this can meet requirements timely detecting physical malfunction pipeline controlling field demand.
