ICP Registration Technology based on the Coordinate System Direction Fit

ABSTRACT
In computer assisted surgery, one of the most important problems is to align preoperative model with intraoperative data.The Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm undoubtedly popular for solving this kind problem, which needs a good initialization.In paper, an ICP based on coordinate system direction fit present improve algorithm's shortcoming easily falling into local optimum registration.Firstly, registration and its are introduced.Secondly, consistency between CT scans pose surgical pose, three-plane patients established reduce rotation dislocation image space patient space.Then, experiment precision analysis conducted.Finally, error also given.The experimental results show that benefits it convergent by patients, increases accuracy reduces computational processing time .
