ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of ceramics study from settlement Novozykovo-3 (foothills Altai) related to two chronological periods. It has been established that Early Iron Age was dominated by traditional use plastic clays, adding gravel in molding mass, often mixed skills application mineral admixtures (gruss+chamotte), and there are virtually no known recipe without artificially introduced minerals it. Mayminskaya is characterized low- medium-plastic raw materials, while recipes with similar quantitative indicators. rare ones include clay+gruss+chamotte, clay+chamotte+organics, clay+sand+organics. differences tools for ornament have noted. In identified preparing masses which coincide certain traditions ornamentation vessels. According technique-technological analysis, it revealed mixing population, who came forest-steppe more typical, Middle Ages people highlands.
