ABSTRACT
The period of transitory postnatal activation the hypotalamo-pitutary-gonadal axis (mini-puberty) plays an important role in testicular maturation and development reproductive system. objective present study was to evaluate functional condition testicles boys at age 2-3 months born with cryptorchism. A total 32 presenting inguinal retention testes (group 1), 10 patients unilateral abdominal criptorchism 2), 40 healthy ages month (control group) were available for clinical examination hormonal analysis. methods employed included orchidometry genitometry, meagurement serum gonadotropin, testosterone, inhibin B levels by immunoenzyme assays. results investigations made it possible diagnose gonadal pathology 80% examinad children cryptorchism subclinical disorders function 40% a testicle.
