ABSTRACT
This article proposes a novel approach for using vector roads the generation of seamline networks aerial image mosaicking. A representative is extracted as follows. First, straight skeleton overlapping area adjacent images extracted. Second, in regions are overlaid with to build weighted graph G and lowest-cost path considered candidate. Finally, candidate refined by considering its surrounding pixels. The employed final seamline. resultant seamlines commonly follow centerlines much possible mosaic appears more seamless. Moreover, vector-based typically efficient than existing raster-based approaches: nearly ten times faster representative.
