ABSTRACT
The ingestive behavior of sheep supplemented with concentrate in Brachiaria brizantha and Panicum maximum pastures were evaluated during the dry season.Twenty four male ½ Santa Inês x undefined breed genotypes used.The treatments feeds cultivar grasses: B. cvs.Marandu Piatã, P. cvs.Massai Aruana.The animals was recorded two periods 24 hours.The grazing time, rumination, idleness (minutes day -1 ), bite rate (bites minute frequency activities relation to defecation, urination search for water, concentrated mineral salt observed.There interaction between time cultivars based on response.Sheep marandu-grass showed higher 11 am 4 pm (257 minutes), compared aruana-grass (217 minutes).The massai-grass (34.32 bits - 1 ).There no grass effect which can highlight similarity chemistry characterization high percentage structural components pastures.The limitations feed mass composition season caused effects pastures.
