Supervision and Peer Supervision in Online Setting: Experiences of Psychological Counselors

ABSTRACT
Purpose: Psychological counseling, supervision, peer and consultation in the online setting have become widespread. This study aimed to examine experiences opinions of psychological counselors regarding supervision supervision. Research Methods: qualitative included six as participants. The data were collected using semi-structured individual interviews a focus group interview. Written documents transcriptions voice recordings analyzed based on thematic analysis. Findings: results related yielded following themes: role supervisor, process, feedback from number clients. Similarly, themes follows: effects peers, professional development, negative perceptions about two strengths drawbacks environment. Implications for Practice: Online can be useful counselors. However, it is crucial future studies investigate with diverse characteristics gain deeper understanding. Mixed-method are recommended more detailed information. Moreover, provided counselors-in-training professionals aiming pursue career development.
