ABSTRACT
The objective of this study was to determine prevalance, severity, course, and long-term findings smell taste disorders coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients in mild-moderate severe-critical spectrum.All adult conducted our hospital with positive severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 between March April 2020 were surveyed during course those olfactory loss re-surveyed the progress these symptoms after at least 12-month follow-up. Demographic features clinical evaluated as well severity.A total 77 and/or included study. At diagnosis, 58 (75.3%) had 75 (97.4%) taste. After a follow-up period 12-14 months, 12 (15.6%) ongoing six (8%) Three (3.9%) complained cacosmia 5 (6.5%) parosmia presence visual analog scale scores not statistically significant male female patients. When severity compared by no difference found.Smell seem be among presenting COVID-19. prognosis treatment COVID-19 remains unclear. To improve accelerate recovery, pathophysiology options must validated.
