ABSTRACT
This study was conducted methodologically to evaluate the Turkish validity and reliability of Feeling Safe During Surgery Scale assess its suitability for population. methodological collected data from 148 patients who underwent elective surgery with regional anesthesia in general clinics a university hospital Istanbul between December 1, 2021 June 30, 2022. Data were obtained through face-to-face interviews using Patient Information Form, developed by researchers based on literature, version Scale, originally created Swedish. The Statistical Package Social Sciences (SPSS) Amos 26 used analysis. content index scale determined be 0.96. Confirmatory factor analysis indicated that acceptably compatible original scale. adapted found have comprehensible language structure appropriate content. Cronbach's alpha coefficient total score α=0.839, indicating high level reliability. Consequently, valid, reliable, stable over time. is valid reliable instrument can population assessing sense safety undergoing surgical units.
