ABSTRACT
The paper investigates the link between eco-efficiency actions and turnover of SMEs within EU28. In particular, we study how specific cases investment in these actions, as well available support to implement them, affect SME production costs. For analysis, use datasets from Flash Eurobarometer surveys that are conducted different time periods, namely: FL342, FL381, FL426 FL456. Porter hypothesis provides theoretical outlet while ordered logit model is applied test relationship aforementioned variables parameters. results confirm offering green services has a positive significant with firm growth all four datasets. However, resource efficiency have mixed results. increase cost implementing investments does not go growth. vary considerably. findings crucial for stakeholders, policymakers corporations provide technical legislative advice achieving competitiveness.
