ABSTRACT
A conventional valve-controlled cylinder drive system is not energy efficient, and a pump-controlled can be unstable in some particular conditions. For systems requiring fast response, hybrid system, that combines the advantages of both valve systems, proposed. As nonlinear behaviours are inevitable most asymmetric also suffers from such problems, extra identified, for example, stall when change its direction motion. simulation model developed used to investigate system's which analysed compared with experimental test results. The efficiency comparable hydraulic same sizing. outcome demonstrate advantage energy-saving aspect, up five times more than system. Suggestions given improve performance stability
