Barriers and drivers of sustainable construction: a systematic literature review

ABSTRACT
This paper presents a systematic literature review about the barriers and drivers of sustainable building practices in construction sector. Through this comprehensive review, authors were able to identify generic for stakeholders implement sustainability within architecture, engineering (AEC) industry. A total 27 29 identified from reviewing 41 articles. classification drivers, which are following: 1) project-level drivers; 2) government regulations; 3) corporate 4) economic financial 5) education; 6) standards; 7) personal motivations. can assist AEC policymakers better understanding construction, thus, elaborate more efficient policies, standards incentives further promote construction.
