ABSTRACT
This study investigates the multi-dimensional impact of travel risk perception on behavioural intentions international tourists. Adopting a sequential mixed method approach, this research conducted 15 interviews in first stage, while second, 285 responses were obtained from tourists visiting Petra, Jordan. The cultural, social, security and violence risks found to play significant role shaping travellers. However, information, financial service quality do not significantly travellers' intentions. study's novel finding is identification tourist segments that are resilient certain types risks. findings can help destination managers incorporate influential aspects into advertising efforts increase number provides valuable insight perspective developed countries by looking how different dimensions influence preferences visit
