Abstract The Lamiaceae family contains bioactive medicinal compounds mostly used as ornamental plants and traditional medicine, well in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical sectors. Common uses include treating high cholesterol, diabetes, respiratory diseases, heart disease, food poisoning.
