A Study of the Effect of Advertising on Attracting Medical Tourism

ABSTRACT
Introduction: It is predicted that tourism will be the most profitable industry in world 2020. The current study aimed to evaluate influence of advertising on attracting foreign medical tourists based marketing mix model. Methods: In this descriptive study, participants (n=136) completed a standard questionnaire containing items demographic characteristics and practices adopted by Mashhad hospitals (13 hospitals) attract Arabic (male-female) from seven nations period March 2015 August 2016. Data description was performed using charts tables. software used spss21. Results: results showed 44.1% were satisfied with practices. terms education, 85 (62.8%) did not have high school diploma. Seventy-six subjects (55.9%) referred friends acquaintances, 38.2% their physicians, only 5.9% attracted other methods. Conclusions: According results, patients consider strategies effective, methods seemed unsuccessful people higher education. Therefore, it suggested revised novel appeal greater range potential tourists.
