Abstract The interconnection of renewable energy sources into the utility grid gives lot issues. important issues faced by systems are synchronized with grid, power quality, and others. distribution static compensator (DSTATCOM) is efficient custom device that can resolve quality problems in system interconnect Photovoltaic (PV) grid. Second Order Generalized Integrator (SOGI) Phase Locked Loop (PLL)–based Unit Vector Template (UVT) control scheme employed for extraction reference current to generate gating signals DSTATCOM. proposed algorithm compensation harmonics, reactive power, voltage interruption. dc link storage capacitor DSTATCOM utilized PV it controlled UVT-based controller. PV-supported provides uninterrupted active when disturbances occur system. simulation experimental results confirm purely sinusoidal currents Total Harmonic Distortion level about 1.28 %, which enhances interconnected
