Abstract This research aimed to investigate the morphological changes of sandy soils with a varying number freeze–thaw cycles (FTCs). The primary objective was characterize in particle morphology and establish relationship between FTCs these changes. Two variables, namely amount variation coefficient variation, were introduced as parameters soils.
