ABSTRACT
Study objective — To evaluate how morphological features of intervertebral disc would affect the outcomes finite element modeling axial load in cervical spine, C3-C5, order to predict risk occurrence and course dorsopathies. Material Methods Three-dimensional models spine vertebrae were generated from computed tomography data a volunteer (24 years old male without detected pathology his neck). Intervertebral developed two configurations. For each model, we performed investigation stress-strain state with same loading conditions. The load-displacement curves compared experimental results previously conducted vitro experiments. Results maximum mean displacement values for isotropic model 1.15 mm 0.73 ± 0.45 mm, respectively. anisotropic 0.86 0.47 0.24 correspondingly. Predicted both matched fairly well. Stress profiles discs stress diagrams facet joints calculated. Conclusion proposed geometric constitutive configurations take into account specific at low computational costs, thereby facilitating degenerative changes.
